A curing tank which can take up to
30 x 150mm cube moulds, made from polyethylene and measuring 990mm x 686mm x 635mm overall. Fitted with a 220 volt 3kw heater but also works on 110 volt (heating taking a little longer) fitted with mechanical thermostat and a galvanised mesh lower rack. The thermostat is factory set to control the tank at 20°C. It is ideal for site use where an economical solution is required. Meets standard BS 1881 part 111 EN 12390-2.

Designed to measure the workability of concrete. This is carried out by filing the slump cone with fresh concrete in three layers, tamping each one and levelling to the top of the cone. The slump cone is then removed and the distance the concrete falls or ‘slump’ is measured
with the rule.

An expanded stainless steel metal manufactured to BS EN 10088-1: 1995: 1.4301 (Grade 304/S15). Where greater strength is required to allow for uneven settlement and movement in buildings it is desirable to use exmet reinforcement in the joints.

Halfen ribslot 28/20 is a self-anchoring channel which has been designed to achieve minimum deflection. It is available in grade 304 stainless steel (S304) and a pre galvanised steel. Sizes available: 100mm, 150mm and 3000mm.
HTS-FS frame cramps

Halfen HTS-FS frame cramps are ties that bed into the mortar joint at one end and are surface fixed to the structure through an upstand at the other end. HTS-FS frame cramps come in standard shapes and lengths which will cover most applications. Available in stainless steel grade 304 (S304). Sizes: 75mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 175mm
and 200mm.
HTS-W wire ties

Halfen HTS-W wire ties are suitable for cavities up to 100mm. They are available in stainless steel grade 304 only. HTS-W2 tie meets DD140 type 2 requirements and complies to DD140 type 4.

HTS-C cavity brick ties

Halfen HTS-C cavity ties have been designed to meet the design and performance requirements of DD140. These ties are designed for a normal 10mm mortar bed. HTS-C ties come in standard shapes and lengths which will cover most applications.
Grades available: stainless steel grade 304 (S304). Galvanised mild steel.
HTA and HZA cast in channels

A cold rolled channel with anchors designed for casting into concrete.
The channel with its anchors, is attached to the formwork before casting. The void within the channel is filled with granulated expanded polystyrene which keeps the inside of the channel free from concrete during pouring and which is easily removed when fixings are to be made. Full technical literature available on request. Types available: HTA 28/15,
HTA 38/17, HTA 40/25, HZA 41/22. Standard lengths 3050mm & 6070mm. Cut lengths available on request. Grades available: A2 stainless steel and galvanised mild steel.
